Cardamom buns filled with almond paste and cream. January until Fettisdagen, then not again for a year.

Where it comes from

In Sweden semlor arrive after Christmas and stop on Fettisdagen. Holding to that is the point — a semla in June is just a bun with cream in it.

Baked and assembled in small batches by one person.
